When I worked as a consultant at Bain we worked on a Private Equity case trying to assess the value of a company that just owned a ton of domains. It was unreal to see the cash people made from just figuring out what domains MIGHT be useful in the future to someone else. It’s a bit like sitting on a patent and slimy, but legal. I plan to use all my domains, give them away, or just let them expire. If you ever think you have a better use for a domain I own talk to me, I don’t want to be a squatter.
